London-based award-winning graphic designer Genis Carreras' philographics are subtle yet powerful.  They have the right balance of color, space and text. The aesthetics and message of each piece are blended perfectly. He constrains his tools to using only basic colors and shapes, but still manages to effectively communicate each philosophy visually. In an age where shit gets way complicated, it's easy to appreciate something simple yet powerful.

Meet Dutch graphic designer and illustrator Rop van Mierlo. He is the author the picture book of Wilde Dieren (Wild Animals). Take a look at a few of his pieces from the book:

I have been quietly obsessing over fashion illustrator Jessica Durrant. Her artwork has a minimalist approach, while still making a beautifyingly infectious statement through bright colors and bold lines. Aside from her sophisitcated fashion works, I am even more infatuated by her travel illustrations. I love the juxtaposition of fluidity and structure, as well as bright colors against a naked white back ground.
